A 27-calendar year-old woman accused in the death previous fall of a Residence Gardens senior underneath her care was situated in Colorado, the place she’s awaiting extradition back to Riverside County, authorities stated Wednesday.

Kyla Mylissa McCall was arrested Friday by legislation enforcement officers in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and is remaining held without the need of bail at the Jefferson County Jail.

McCall is billed with murder for the Oct dying of 69-year-aged Sandra Ross.

According to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Rick Espinoza, McCall allegedly abused Ross around an unspecified period, causing injuries past Oct. 3 that resulted in the victim’s hospitalization.

Health professionals instantly detected that the injuries had been intentionally inflicted, and sheriff’s detectives ended up notified, Espinoza stated, but no other details have been disclosed.

On Oct. 30, Ross succumbed to her accidents, and the ensuing investigation culminated with the filing of a murder charge by the Riverside County District Attorney’s Business.

When deputies went to take McCall into custody past month, she could not be uncovered. An arrest warrant was issued, and she was tracked to a home in the suburbs of Denver, according to the sheriff’s division.

The defendant has no documented prior felony convictions.
