Tim Allen reprised his Dwelling Improvement character, Tim “The Software Man” Taylor, all through Thursday night’s Past Man Standing. Fans of the two series celebrated the crossover, which also hinted at a potential reboot.

The premise of the episode was that Tim wanted to fulfill Mike Baxter, Allen’s other character, because he read they glimpse so substantially alike. Tim assisted Mike with a damaged garbage disposal, and of program hilarity ensued.

Whilst significantly of the episode was entertaining, there were being a couple tender times. The most touching minute was when Tim talked about how a lot he skipped his previous neighbor, Wilson Wilson Jr. Wilson was performed by Earl Hindman, who died in 2003.

One of the most important surprises from the episode was the trace of a reboot. In simple fact, in a single scene Mike tells Tim, “You could want to consider of rebooting that Resource Time.” The suggestive dialogue led to psyched enthusiasts speculating on Twitter.

Previous Man Standing airs Thursday evenings at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
