MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) — 6 people, like five younger young children, had been shot to demise early Tuesday at a household in Oklahoma, and a 25-calendar year-old man suspected in the killings was taken into custody, police stated.

Officers responded about 1:30 a.m. to a call of several people today shot at a property in Muskogee, Law enforcement Officer Lynn Hamlin mentioned.

Authorities located 1 person and 4 kids useless at the scene, and a fifth baby died at a Tulsa healthcare facility, Hamlin reported. Officers also encountered Jarron Deajon Pridgeon with a gun and took him into custody.

A girl who was shot and wounded was in steady problem Tuesday afternoon, Hamlin mentioned.

Authorities have not produced the victims’ names.

Hamlin described the slain youths as “small children” but mentioned law enforcement do not but have their precise ages. She reported authorities do not know a motive but do not believe that any other suspects are concerned.

“It was not random certainly for the reason that they all did dwell in this residence with each other, but as much as what all individuals relationships glance like, we just really don’t know that but,” Hamlin stated.

She stated Pridgeon was not cooperating with investigators.
