TROUTMAN, N.C. — A particular person was shot and wounded outdoors the North Carolina dwelling of rapper DaBaby, authorities stated Thursday, but it was unclear if he himself was involved or harm.
DaBaby and at minimum just one other man or woman were being at the dwelling when the shooting occurred Wednesday evening, Troutman Law enforcement Chief Josh Watson told The Related Push. But he wouldn’t say who was shot or who did the taking pictures, citing an ongoing investigation. He explained the injuries of the unidentified wounded person were not everyday living-threatening.
A spokesperson for the rapper failed to instantly reply to an email request for remark on Thursday.
Troutman, situated in Iredell County, is 35 miles (56 km) north of Charlotte.
The shooting is the hottest in a series of incidents involving DaBaby, whose serious identify is Jonathan Kirk. In 2019, he pleaded responsible to a misdemeanor cost of carrying a concealed weapon after a deadly taking pictures at a Walmart in Huntersville, North Carolina, just south of Troutman. He was not charged in the capturing.
