Carlos Perez, the gentleman who lives at the house on Miramar Boulevard near Riviera Drive, reported he was up late watching Tv set when his daughter-in-law smelled the smoke.

“She began yelling fireplace, fire,” stated Perez. “Once I heard that and my wife screaming, I took motion.”
