A Lincolnshire business has blamed the impact of the coronavirus pandemic after announcing it is “closing” its cleaning services.

Neat as Nine Pins in Woodhall Spalhas built up a steady following offering a cleaning and ironing service.

However, lockdowns and the restrictions imposed to combat the virus have seen regular clients cancel.

And it has taken its toll, with bosses now saying the cleaning services it offered will stop at the end of March.

A post on the business Facebook page reads: “It is with a heavy heart I have to announce that after four-and-a-half wonderful years of running Neat as Nine Pins, we shall be closing our cleaning services on Wednesday, March 31 2021.

“Covid and lockdowns have not been kind to us. Many clients have either postponed or cancelled us (quite understandably) and we cannot maintain this forever.

“Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the time we have been operating.

“To Judith who started it all off, Mike who has helped develop it and our current staff Sarah, Heather, Frances, Vicky and Sam who will be with us until the end.

“So long, farewell and thank you all.”

However, the news has come as a great surprise to many.

Catherine Teresa wrote: “Truly gutted, your company has done so much for us. You will be so missed.”

Kath Fairs commented: “So sad to hear this. Wishing you all the best.”
