Suzette García's trailer home in south Scottsdale was destroyed following a monsoon storm on July 17, 2022

Maryjane García-Stanley reported a loud sound from outside the house her mobile property in south Scottsdale woke her and her relatives up on Sunday night. 

She swiftly grabbed a pair of footwear and a flashlight and walked out underneath the storm, only to locate her mom, Suzette García, who lived following doorway, trapped under the kitchen wall and the stove that was once portion of what applied to be her property. 

“I heard a major bang and (my wife) had viewed a vivid gentle,” García-Stanley explained. “I ran to the door, looked out. It (her trailer) was completely absent.”

García’s was just one of a number of houses that had been blown away by a strong monsoon storm that swept across the Valley that evening, leaving downed power lines, road closures, and power outages over Phoenix metro and its encompassing regions.
